TV Show Plot For Love American Style

Love American Style explored romance from several different angles. Each episode was unrelated and featured a different set of characters and situations. Oftentimes, the same actors would be featured in different roles from episode to episode. One of the regular props used throughout the series was an ornate brass bed. The different stories were tied together by Charles Fox’s poppy score.

“Love and the Happy Days” was perhaps the most popular episode of Love American Style. It would eventually become the pilot for another popular television series, Happy Days. Ron Howard, Marion Ross, and Anson Williams starred in this episode.

Love American Style was also popular for its ten to twenty second joke clips that popped on the screen in between segments. Much of these featured Stuart Margolin, who would later star on The Rockford Files, and James Hampton, a young character actor.
