TV Show Plot For It Takes A Theif

On It Takes a Thief, Robert Wagner portrayed the classy and debonair Alexander Mundy, a full time thief who gets busted. In prison, the government offers him a deal: if he uses his talents on behalf of the government, he will be let out of prison. Mundy accepts the offer. His initial contact is with Noah Bain, who was played by Malachi Throne. Later, he worked with Wally Powers, who was portrayed by Edward Binns.

In the first season of It Takes a Thief, Mundy is under house arrest, only allowed to go out when he is contracted by the government for a job. By the second season, however, he is free to go out whenever he pleases. It Takes a Thief was noted for shooting its scenes in glamorous locales all over the world.
