TV Show Plot For Happy Days

Happy Days told the story of a family living in Milwaukee called the Cunninghams. Father Howard was the owner of a hardware store; mother Marion was a housewife; the children consisted of Richie, Joanie, and Chuck. Chuck disappeared from the show on the second season of Happy Days, with no explanation given. Richie was portrayed as something of an optimistic, yet naïve character.

Happy Days also featured the character of New York transplant Arthur “Fonzie” Fonzarelli, who was at first portrayed as a thug. Over time, however, Fonzie endeared himself to the Cunninghams and became a close family friend. Fonzie’s cousin, Chachi, became an amorous interest of Joanie’s. Several spin off series emerged out of Happy Days, which is considered one of the most popular television shows in American history.

Happy Days was initially filmed with a laugh track. Later on, however, the series started filming before a live studio audience.
