Television Show Summary
The ‘70s and ‘80s TV show Charlie’s Angels was about three women working for a fictional detective agency called the Charles Townsend Agency.
TV Show Plot For Charlies Angels
“Charlie” was never seen on Charlie’s Angels; he would always contact the girls via speaker phone, and was occasionally seen from behind, and, on the last episode of the series, behind a surgical mask, but never full faced. His voice was provided by the actor John Forsythe.
The original three “angels” of Charlie’s Angels included Kelly Garrett (Jaclyn Smith), Jill Munroe (Farrah Fawcett Majors), and Sabrina Duncan (Kate Jackson.) Of the original three, only Smith remained on the show throughout its entire run. Whenever an “angel” would leave, she would be replaced by another character. Replacement included Kris Munroe (Cheryl Ladd), Julie Rogers (Tanya Roberts), and Tiffany Welles (Sheila Hack.)
Charlie’s Angels involved the girls having to go undercover in to a different situation on each episode until their cover was inevitably blown and they had to get out of it somehow. The show often focused on the girls’ sexuality, and they were usually scantily clad.
