Film Plot For Valachi Papers, The

The Valachi Papers is a film about Joe Valachi (Charles Bronson), a mobster in prison for smuggling heroin. He is also imprisoned with the boss of his crime family, who is convinced he is an informant. When Valachi kills a fellow prisoner who he mistakenly believed was out to kill him, Valachi agrees to talk to the feds, becoming the first Mafia informant. Will he outlive the boss of the crime family, and thus escape assassination?
