Film Plot For Main Event, The

The Main Event is a film about one Hillary Kramer (Barbra Streisand), a successful perfume magnate who awakens one morning to discover that her accountant has robbed her blind and moved to South America. Going through her remaining assets, she comes across a boxer purchased as a tax write off. She decides to use that boxer, Kid Natural (Ryan O’Neal), as her means of re-attaining her wealth.

While The Main Event did not get the best reviews, it was one of the most successful films of the ‘70s at the box office.
