Film Plot For Grizzly Adams

This movie is based on the true story of a trapper named James Capen “Grizzly” Adams. The Life and Times of Grizzly Adams follows the trapper’s plight in to the wild after he is falsely accused of killing someone. There, in the wild, he becomes friends with an orphaned grizzly bear, whom he adopts and names Ben. The bear becomes his closest companion over the years, despite the beast’s massive size. Over the years, Adams manages to live in close harmony with all of the wild animals of the forest.

The television show that The Life and Times of Grizzly Adams spawned also featured two human characters who he befriends, but they are not featured in the film version.
