Film Plot For Cousin, Cousine

The movie Cousin, Cousine deals with two cousins by marriage who begin having an affair when they discover that their spouses are not being faithful to them. They meet at a wedding reception for an elderly couple. Over time, they begin meeting on a regular basis, becoming close friends before eventually falling in love, after many people begin to suspect that their friendship is more than it actually is. What will become of their relationship? There is only one way to find out!

Cousin, Cousine was nominated for several Academy Awards, including Best Foreign Language Film. In the year 1989, the movie was remade as an English language film called Cousins starring Ted Danson.
