Film Plot For Beyond and BackBeyond and Back is a documentary movie exploring near death experiences. It was one of the first films to seriously explore the question of whether there is life after death. Narrator Brad Crandall takes in to consideration the claims of many people who were clinically dead before being revived by modern medical means such as CPR. Many of them report very vivid accounts of what happened to them during those few moments when they were actually clinically dead. The film also explores such celebrity claims as that of author Ernest Hemingway, who claimed to have felt his soul leave his body when he was injured as a soldier at war.
