Blackbyrds Artist Fact: The Blackbyrds are perhaps best remembered for their hit song “Walking in Rhythm,” which was recorded in the autumn of 1974 at Los Angeles’s studio the Sound Factory and released in 1975. “Walking in Rhythm” details the plight of a man who wants desperately to get home to his woman. The song would make it to the charts in March of that year and go on to receive a Grammy nomination.
