Boz Scaggs Artist Fact: Scaggs returned in the United States in 1967. His destination was the psychedelic music capital, San Francisco. He sang on the first two Steve Miller Band albums before scoring a record deal in 1968 with Atlantic Records. But it wasn’t until the release of his album Silk Degrees that Scaggs would attain commercial and critical success – not only in his home country, but all over the world. The album featured three hit singles – “What Can I Say,” “Low Down,” and “Lido Shuffle.” His lengthy hiatus from the music industry throughout the 1980s had a significant impact on his chart success during that decade....Boz_Scaggs Bio
