Boz Scaggs -Upon leaving college, Scaggs moved to London for a while, inspired by the city’s burgeoning R&B scene. He sang in a couple of bands during this period, including Mother Earth and the Wigs. His first solo album, Boz, came out in 1965.... Lynyrd Skynyrd -In the year 1977, Van Zant and several other members of the band were killed in a plane crash between gigs. This effectively put an end to Lynyrd Skynyrd, until remaining members of the band got back together ten years later.... Chi-Lites -The Chi-Lites scored their major hits in the early 1970s with “Oh Girl” and “Have You Seen Her.” Despite numerous line-up changes throughout the decade, the Chi-Lites managed to score a number of chart toppers.... | ||||||
