Ojays -The O'Jays were initially known as the Triumphs, then the Mascots. They scored a local hit in the year 1961 with the track “Miracles.” In honor of the radio DJ Eddie O’Jay, they changed their name to the O’Jays two years later. At this point, they released what would become their first nation wide hit, “Lonely Drifter.”... Harry Nilsson -While Nilsson was quite successful in the beginning of his career, even winning a couple of Grammy Awards along the way, he was prevented from going much further owing to his decision to make huge stylistic jumps from one album to the next, not to mention his notoriously iconoclastic ideas. In the 1960s, during the pop music explosion that rippled throughout Britain, Matthews sang in a number of local bands.
