Ray Stevens -The career of Stevens was launched with the release of two singles on the Prep Records label. This was followed with a short stint on the Capitol Records label. Bill Lowery, the Atlanta music maven, helped in scoring Stevens all these early recordings. Stevens would eventually join the National Recording Corporation in the year 1958, becoming a mem... Betty Wright -Wright’s first album was released when the singer was only fifteen. The album featured the hit single “Girls Can’t Do What Guys Can Do.” But it was not until the 1970s that Wright would be propelled to superstardom. Throughout that decade, Wright would score big with such tracks as “Clean Up Woman,” “Tonight is the Night,” and “Where is the Love.”...
